This is one of the best war movies I’ve seen. If nothing else, there are some “ooooh” scenes that are just phenomenal. It’s the story of a lone soldier who’s been given an important message to deliver to the battlefront. Since this is 1917, he has to hand deliver it. Of course, he has many “adventures” on the way, and the interactions give the producer the opportunity to show off his camera and choreography skills. It’s just outstanding.
