Monday
– met kraig, singer, liked his version of harry chapin, cats in the cradle. Sent us cookies and nice note the next day. His parent were also performers.
– fantastic stage show with demons flying over stage, like flying monkeys in oz. Show name was Voodoo Moon.
Tuesday
– van for roatan tour with kevin, $120 (plus kevin’s lunch), lunch at king crab, had giant coconut shrimp. Would like help with website. Pays $250 rent, wife from honduras.
– met Loy, lounge singer, also friend of Jennifer, Florida teacher. Sent us cookies.
Wednesday
– van trip cozumel island tour, $300, drinks at a roadsde stand, lunch at a beach restaurant, fish tacos, so-so
– dinner at fahrehheit 555 steakhouse, met brenda and chuck from ga, cruised 6 times this yr so far. Kk had prim rib-large and chewy but goo flavor. I had libster tail, florida variety, so-so.
– went to fhow Love & Marriage. Couples from show get on stage and answer questions about their spouses. Moderately funny, woudn’t go again.
Thursday
– fantastic show-celestial strings, standouts were: nothing else matters; chandelier; in the air tonight. The other good show was voodoo moon.
– dinner was lobster tail-was better than the florida tail I had at the steakhouse.
– found nice place to play mahjong, 8th floor, outside cuccino capitan, sandwiches, pizza, drinks close by.
Friday
mahjong and lunch on 8. Hawaiiian pizza was excellent.
Saturday
– debarked, drove to magic tree
– lunch at sickie’s garage, kk loved garage burger w/bacon, wings w/holey garlic v/good
– picked up linda at airport, – Dinner at Juicy & Crab, lobster boil, very good
Sunday
met jill at jeremiah’s. my cuban was tasteless, linda’s wings were dry, overcooked. jackie and emari were there. jill has started smoking, lost weight, and not looking good at all. still can’t walk or stand up.
Monday
dinner at black angus, rib eye so-so
Tuesday
dinner at el tapatio on orange blossom tr. seemed closer than the one in kissimmee, enchiladas and chimichanga were good.
Wednesday
– drove to canaveral, spent the day at Hilton Garden Inn with a day pass, $25, + $35 for umbrella. Jeannie, one of Linda’s friends, joined us.
– dinner at Juicy & Crab, got lobster again.
Thursday
– Lunch at Sickies, wings again
– dinner at crazy crab, got fried oysters, not good, too much breading
Friday
left at 10, took linda to the airport, got to gateway comfort inn around 4:30. ate at hooters, took some tater tots back to the room, kk not feeling well
Saturday
– on the road at 9, got home around 5:30. heavy rain in SC.
– should consider staying in manning or santee, sc next time
